We saw the Harlem Globetrotters play today! This was my first time seeing the Globetrotters in action. It was such good family fun, and I’m sure we’ll be back the next time they’re in town!

What the Kids Liked
My youngest is four, and I was worried she might get bored, but she actually loved it. Her favorite part was the mascots coming out on the floor. She particularly loved the inflatable version of the mascot which could pop his eyes off!

The older two kids really enjoyed the basketball tricks and the fun antics of the game. They also liked doing the wave around the arena, and then doing it again in slow motion for the “instant replay”.

What the Adults Liked
I loved that the kids were really interested, so I could enjoy the show too! I thought they did a great job of appealing to fans of all ages. The actual playing of basketball was great, but they also mixed in a good amount of entertaining fun to keep everyone involved.

The floor was set up in a way that you could see everything really well, even if you weren’t sitting court side. The food and souvenirs were pretty reasonably priced. The kids even talked me into a basketball. You could also go down to the court at the end of the game to get your ball autographed by the players.

Now, we’ll be working on a few tricks of our own at home!
