Bricks 4 Kidz is devoted to providing an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, and we play with LEGO Bricks. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, built around our proprietary model plans, created by engineers and architects. At Bricks 4 Kidz, we believe that kids learn best through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity. We offer activities for children ages 3-13+, including:After-School Enrichment Classes, Week-Long Summer Camps, Birthday Parties, In-school Workshops, Pre-School Classes, Kidz Night Out. Our programs provide a safe, relaxed learning environment where initiative is invited and self-expression is celebrated. Specially designed project kits and theme-based models provide kids with the opportunity to solve problems and develop an appreciation for how things work, while having fun and socializing in a non-competitive atmosphere. Each year Jumbo's welcomes thousands of families to enjoy good old-fashioned fun down on our family farm. Admission and hayrides are always free and we don't plan on changing that anytime soon. ACRES OF COUNTRY FUN RIGHT HERE IN TOWN!
Each year corn is grown on 8+ acres of the former Naval Academy Farm and when it is just high enough, it is cut into a Corn Maze! A new theme is picked and a cool design is cut to match the theme. Then thousands of folks "get lost" on the paths as they make their way through the maze. There are two phases: one longer one and one shorter version. A game is included in each phase to help you decide which way to turn at the crossroads and a friendly tower watch overlooks your safety. After you navigate the maze, there is a lot more fun on the farm! Young and old will find plenty to do! There's pedal carts, farm bowling, a corn box, a hay bale jump, a hay maze, a tire/sand area, sling shots, food trucks, kettle corn, giant log house building, a play house, a petting zoo, a cow train, pony rides, live animal shows, a puppet show, princess visits, face painting, rage cage soccer, pumpkins & more! There is even a nice long hayride that takes people to the working side of the farm (where the Navy goat was rumored to live back in the day!) and/or a horse drawn carriage ride that take you behind the back of the maze. You'll hear great tunes on MD Sunrise Radio Station throughout the entire event to add to the good, old fashion, family day of outdoor fun. Everyone should have this on his or her Fall calendar!
